Second day in Mancora, no fiesta, no movement, I feel like a lion in a cage. 😑
Beach life has already bored me….
Having no other option I throw myself back into the sea, at least there are plenty of fun waves.
The other guys in the hostel never feel like doing anything, long live life!!! 🥳
The day passes lazily, luckily in the evening I meet up with this person again, her friends/colleagues are there too. French and German girls. We have a drink together after dinner and just before going one of them asks me if I would like to have a beer in the hostel next door. The others go off to sleep.. 😕
The time to order the beer and a Peruvian guy and a French girl arrive asking me if I had ever been to the moon. The girl who had invited me to drink the beer disappears with a clever sleight of hand! 😆
I am then left alone talking to these guys who claim to have travelled to the moon. Wondering why I am only drinking a beer 🤣
Having finished chatting with these two astronauts I return to my room. It’s the middle of the night and the other two guys are asleep. Time to lie down and I hear the voice of the Peruvian girl asking me if there are tuktuks outside the hostel. Then she is alive!
Of course there are… but she tells me that she is afraid to take it alone, it is 2am… so she asks me if I would like to go to a party at her friend’s house… I think about it for a moment and say yes… after all, what can happen if you go to a party at 2am with a stranger in a remote village in South America? 😀
Two minutes to get ready he tells me….
Well, those two minutes will last until dawn, she fell asleep on the phone!!! No fiesta… what a bore Mancora 😆
