Today is the day of the flight to Bogotá, while Luis decides to give Medellin another chance. By sheer coincidence, on his flight there is also a Mexican guy he met days before in Cartagena. The Santa Marta airport is on the seafront, at the edge of the beach. After the appropriate checks we wait together, until I find out that my flight is delayed 😅
At that point we say goodbye (a farewell) and after two weeks I am alone again. Strange feeling, I am no longer used to it, but by now the mood has changed, in three days I have my flight back and I am already starting to feel sad. The flight leaves about 30 min late, but I don’t care in the slightest, no one is waiting for me and I have no deadline. Having checked into my new accommodation for the last few days, I go to a shopping centre (one of the few things I can do in Bogota and one of the safest). There I have dinner, still a bit dazed by the drugs, and spend the night in a sort of disco-pub with a local girl, where there are also live dancers. Obviously I don’t miss the opportunity and we dance too, this will be the last time in South America, better take advantage of it 😆.
For the return to my accommodation I decide to take a taxi, by now I know you Bogota 😂
