The days go by quickly in Lima and people never leave me alone.
On one of the few free afternoons I find myself thinking about what to do. There are not many options, I have already visited the tourist attractions, I am in the mood for something different….
So I decide to take a ride at the go-kart track. The prices are very low, so I decide to buy two sessions. The track is nice, part linoleum, part concrete. The karts aren’t lightning but they aren’t slow either, petrol-powered and single-speed. A fun combination… before entering the track there’s a briefing to do, where they explain how it’s done….. 😆
The first two rounds are great fun, they go by quickly, after all I’m a sucker for these things 😆. The adrenaline is pumping…. I get off and go and buy two more shifts 😆
At the end of the day I have abrasions on my palms and back, my hands are shaking but I’m happy, high on adrenaline and satisfied with the day…. That’s all I need
