When I say that on this solo trip I was never really alone, it is not a figure of speech….
Today the German girl with whom I shared part of the adventures in Ecuador takes a plane to Costa Rica, where she will meet a guy she met a few weeks earlier. A very nice and polite guy from Lima who was part of Mancora’s company. His plane leaves at 3am (good trip!) while I still have a week in Quito. I thought I would find myself alone, but instead I was very wrong. In the afternoon, to my surprise, I meet in the hostel both an Israeli guy I had met a few days before in the very same hostel dormitory, and the two Swiss guys I met in Cotopaxi! With them I will spend a very pleasant week in Quito, while waiting for the flight that will take me to Colombia. Especially with Burak, we will have a lot of fun exploring what the city has to offer.
