Early departure, a taxi picks me up at 5, unfortunately public transport opens much later, 25€ fly away… 🥲
I arrive at the airport in half an hour, there is nobody there yet and here for the first time in months I return to have an Italian breakfast…
After saying goodbye to a wonderful dachshund I take the plane, which takes me to Barcelona in a little over an hour.
By metro I reach the city centre and leave my luggage at the hostel, it is very early to check in. I start the desperate search for a laundry, but here things are different… the fast laundries are only automatic ones, I have no other choice… 😵‍💫
In the early afternoon I go back to my room and meet my new roommates, some girls and an Argentinean guy, with whom I immediately make friends and in the afternoon we take a tour of the city together. I wait for him as he goes up to the upper floors of a building where a ‘friend’ of his lives and later we have a beer on the terrace on the top floor of the hostel. Beautiful view, however I am sad… I would like to go back to South America right away!!! 🥲
